Job Description :

As a Lead Engineer – Civil wind they will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects specifically related to wind energy infrastructure. Lead a team of civil engineers and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the successful execution of wind farm projects. Contribute to the efficient and sustainable utilization of renewable energy resources.

Key Skills :

 1.Demonstrated experience in leading civil engineering teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.

2.Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and familiarity with GIS tools.

3.Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and construction management.

4.Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills.

5.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-stridden environment.

6.Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards relevant to wind energy projects.

7.Commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship in engineering practices.

Roles & Responsibilities :

 1.Project Planning: Lead the planning phase of civil engineering projects for wind farms, including site selection, feasibility studies, and resource assessments.

2.Design Development: Develop detailed civil engineering designs for wind turbine foundations, access roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure components, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

3.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of civil engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

4.Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including electrical engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of civil engineering activities within the project.

5.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permits, and codes throughout the design and construction phases.

6.Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and durability of civil infrastructure, optimizing performance and longevity.

7.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with civil engineering aspects of wind farm projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

8.Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures related to civil engineering activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
